About The HICU
- 20 semi-private rooms, up to 40 high-acuity patients
- Interdisciplinary team: nursing, respiratory, rehab, pharmacy, social work, nutrition
- Focus on recovery, early intervention, and family-centered care
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care
- Operate advanced monitoring and life-support equipment
- Collaborate on individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Career growth through Nursing Clinical Ladder

- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Critical care or high-acuity experience preferred (new grads considered)
- Maryland RN license, BLS required; ACLS within 1 year
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
