What You'll Do
As Nurse Manager, you will:

Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of RNs, LPNs, GNAs/CNAs, and support staff while serving as a visible, approachable clinical leader.

Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care that reflects the values of the Household model.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of your assigned Household, including staffing, scheduling, workflow management, productivity, and fiscal accountability.

Ensure exceptional resident care by maintaining compliance with CMS regulations, Maryland Department of Health requirements, Joint Commission standards, infection prevention practices, and National Patient Safety Goals.

Coach, mentor, and develop clinical staff through ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, education, and succession planning.

Partner closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, rehabilitation therapists, social work, dietary services, activities, and families to provide holistic, individualized care.

Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on resident safety, falls prevention, infection prevention, pressure injury reduction, and regulatory readiness.

Promote employee engagement, retention, and professional growth while creating a positive work environment where staff feel supported and empowered.

Serve as a resource for residents and families, ensuring excellent communication and a positive customer experience.
What You Bring
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

ASN required; BSN preferred.

Active Maryland RN license.

BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Geriatric Nursing, or Post-Acute Care.

Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager, or equivalent leadership role.

Strong understanding of CMS regulations, quality metrics, infection prevention, and long-term care operations.

Excellent communication, team-building, organizational, and leadership skills.
