What You'll Do

As Nurse Manager, you will:

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of RNs, LPNs, GNAs/CNAs, and support staff while serving as a visible, approachable clinical leader.

• Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care that reflects the values of the Household model.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of your assigned Household, including staffing, scheduling, workflow management, productivity, and fiscal accountability.

• Ensure exceptional resident care by maintaining compliance with CMS regulations, Maryland Department of Health requirements, Joint Commission standards, infection prevention practices, and National Patient Safety Goals.

• Coach, mentor, and develop clinical staff through ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, education, and succession planning.

• Partner closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, rehabilitation therapists, social work, dietary services, activities, and families to provide holistic, individualized care.

• Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on resident safety, falls prevention, infection prevention, pressure injury reduction, and regulatory readiness.

• Promote employee engagement, retention, and professional growth while creating a positive work environment where staff feel supported and empowered.

• Serve as a resource for residents and families, ensuring excellent communication and a positive customer experience.

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• ASN required; BSN preferred.

• Active Maryland RN license.

• BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Geriatric Nursing, or Post-Acute Care.

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager, or equivalent leadership role.

• Strong understanding of CMS regulations, quality metrics, infection prevention, and long-term care operations.

• Excellent communication, team-building, organizational, and leadership skills.
