Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Medical Oncologist located in Baltimore, MD. The Medical Oncologist will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, including diagnosing and treating cancer patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. The role also involves administering chemotherapy, overseeing radiation therapy plans, and monitoring patient progress to provide tailored treatments and manage side effects effectively. The physician will actively participate in patient education and support to improve outcomes and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in Oncology, focused on the diagnosis, staging, and treatment of cancer
- Experience with administering and managing treatment options, including Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy
- Strong foundation in advanced Medicine and patient care
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Maryland
- Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology is required
- Commitment to delivering compassionate and evidence-based care
- Experience in clinical trials or cancer research is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
