About the Role:
- Provides on call crisis intervention, safety assessment and referrals to identified victims of domestic violence and other abuses upon referral from hospital units during non-program hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides safety assessment, domestic violence and other abuses education and emotional support to identified victims.
- Formulates safety plan with victim and provides resources.
- Communicates with medical staff regarding victim's disposition and regarding referrals.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma/GED preferred
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience with domestic violence and other abuse victims preferred
