About the Role:
Under limited supervision, performs repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on complex biomedical equipment to enhance its clinical effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Services electronic, pneumatic and fluidic medical systems. Diagnoses technical problems and identifies and implements appropriate corrective actions
- Orders repair parts, accurately documents parts usage in the database system and stores spare parts in assigned bins.
- Maintains, cleans, and organizes work area and test equipment between tasks and at the end of shift
- Effectively schedules repair service with equipment user departments to minimize downtime. Performs PM on medical equipment per department standards
- Preventative Maintenance for a variety of complex medical equipment, documents work performed and applies maintenance sticker.
Requirements:
- Education: AA degree preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience
