- Work alongside experienced interdisciplinary teams across high-acuity patient populations.
- Provide comprehensive care, including physical exams, health history evaluations, and diagnostic assessments.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, X-rays, and other studies. Perform diagnostic procedures such as blood draws, smears, and urinalysis.
- Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions. Prescribe medications in collaboration with licensed physicians.
- Develop educational programs for staff, medical students, and community agencies. Participate in training programs, seminars, and team meetings.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff, physicians, and community agencies to ensure holistic patient care.
- Current Maryland Physician Assistant or CRNP or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner License.
- DEA Controlled Substance Registration, Controlled Dangerous Substances License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
