What To Expect as our Personal Caregiver - Direct Care Worker:
You'll be working closely with an individual with autism and providing compassionate support as he transitions into independent living. Every day is a new opportunity to make a positive difference, and you'll help the client develop valuable life skills, build confidence, and develop new connections. You'll work in the client's home, encouraging him to get outside, exercise, explore the area, and seek out employment opportunities. In addition to your caregiving duties, you'll help the client learn boundaries, understand social cues, and become an active member of the community!
