Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments, including behavioral health management and memory care techniques.
• Maintain infection control standards by practicing proper hand hygiene and using personal protective equipment (PPE), especially during infectious disease care or in sterile procedures.
• Support patients with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs by providing compassionate caregiving tailored to individual requirements.

Skills

• Familiarity with specialized areas such as hospice care.
• Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) and vital signs assessment.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health challenges using patient-centered approaches.
