We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and be committed to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and those with developmental disabilities, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Therapist will utilize evidence-based practices to support clients in their mental health journeys.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the needs of clients.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Crisis Intervention.
- Develop treatment plans that align with clients' goals and monitor progress regularly.
- Engage in crisis management and provide support during critical situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in clinical research and data collection as needed.
- Offer specialized services such as grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavioral therapy.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a therapist or counselor in the state of practice.
- Experience working with children and families is preferred; experience with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, patient assessment, and case management procedures.
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, behavior management, and patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through training in areas such as psychopharmacology, art therapy, dance therapy, or psychodynamic therapy is encouraged.
