Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX, for a Varsity Offensive Linemen Coach. The coach will be responsible for planning and leading offensive line practices, developing skills, techniques, and strategies, and mentoring student-athletes both on and off the field in preparation for Friday Nights. You will also be assigned game day duties prior to fulfilling your role during games. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other coaching staff on game planning, ensuring player safety, and promoting sportsmanship within the team. The role also involves supporting the academic and personal development of student-athletes to align with the mission of Life School Oak Cliff while collaborating with other staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Certification Preferred
- Proven experience coaching offensive line
- Expertise in offensive line techniques, strategy development, and player evaluation
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to foster team spirit, sportsmanship, and personal development among players
- Familiarity with athletic safety protocols and injury prevention strategies
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated commitment to academic and character development of student-athletes
- 2nd Sport Available
