💻 What You’ll Do
As a Software Developer at Life Protect 24/7, you’ll join a small, fast-moving, and collaborative development team where your work will be seen, used, and appreciated. From our cloud-based call center systems to internal productivity tools and custom-built kiosk/touchpoint apps, your code will power the heartbeat of the business.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Designing, building, and maintaining cloud-first web applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Enhancing and expanding our internal RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party APIs
- Automating deployment and version control for 500 on-prem and remote devices
- Helping us modernize our CI/CD workflows using tools like Docker, and GitLab
- Documenting systems, processes, and deployment pipelines to help scale the team
🧠What We’re Looking For
Required Skills:
- 3 years of experience with PHP (OOP and frameworks)
- 2 years with JavaScript
- 1 years of experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Strong Git/GitLab experience for version control
- Experience working in high-load, high-scale environments
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-directed mindset
- Experience with Docker in development or production
Bonus Points For:
- Frontend experience with React or other modern JS frameworks
- Comfortable in Linux environments
- Understanding of PCI/DSS compliance
- A good design eye and user-centric thinking
- A love of learning and staying up to date on tech trends
