Title: Student Ministry Director
Team: Student Ministry (Children & Youth)
Reports To: Pastor
Service Duration: Minimum 1-Year Commitment (Reviewed Annually)
Purpose of the Position:
The Student Ministry Director leads and oversees the full spectrum of student discipleship at LOVWC—from early childhood through high-school students—in relevant, innovative, and spirit-led environments that are fun, safe, and deeply impactful. This ministry is not babysitting, but vital spiritual development that influences the future of the church and God’s Kingdom. Team members must possess a passionate heart to serve without public recognition, be personable, approachable, compassionate, and maintain confidentiality.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Serve faithfully and consistently in this role for a minimum of 1 year.
· Spiritually mature leadership that models a growing walk with Christ.
· Lead student ministry gatherings (Children & Youth) during designated service and event times.
· Oversee scheduling, training, and development of all Student Ministry volunteers.
· Arrive prepared and on-time (minimum 30 minutes before ministry start).
· Maintain cleanliness, safety, and readiness of all ministry spaces before and after services.
· Regularly evaluate and improve student ministry effectiveness, discipleship pathways, and team excellence.
· Cultivate a Christ-centered culture of fun, worship, spiritual growth, and belonging across all age groups.
· Support the vision, culture, and leadership of Life of Victory Worship Center.
· Perform additional ministry assignments as needed or directed by Pastor.

Required Qualifications:
· Prior ministry experience in children or youth ministry (minimum 1 year recommended).
· Demonstrated passion for the spiritual development of young people and families.
· Heart to serve and assist people with humility and excellence.
· Alignment with the heart, vision, and leadership of the Pastor and ministry.
· Commitment to live a godly, Biblically-based lifestyle in accordance with church standards.
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3.0 – 4.0 per week
