Thrift Store Production Associate (Temp)

The Life Network Family Thrift Store is seeking a TEMPORARY (12-week assignment) Production & Donation Associate to support the mission of Life Network. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of multitasking, and enthusiastic about the physical aspects of receiving and processing donated goods.

Responsibilities

• Cheerfully greet donors and receive donations
• Effectively communicate Life Network's mission statement
• Sort and price donated items
• Maintains an atmosphere of teamwork and fellowship with other staff and volunteers
• Ensures donated items meet FTS standards for quality and suitability
• Merchandise processed items onto the sales floor as appropriate, contributing to a well-organized and appealing shopping environment
• Provide excellent customer service while on the sales floor
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the production areas to facilitate efficient donation processing
  
  

Experience

• High school graduate
• Thrift store or retail experience a plus
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong advocate for the sanctity of life issues.
• Possesses Christian testimony with evidence of Christian maturity in personal and professional life
• Active commitment to a local church
• A passion for the ministry accomplished through Life Network and a heart for reaching the lost of our community/world with the Gospel
• Exhibits initiative, teamwork, and a goal-orientated mindset in accomplishing tasks
• Flexible and adaptable in handling unpredictable situations
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks associated with store maintenance
• Capable of meeting transportation needs as required for the position
  
  

CLASSIFICATION

40 hours per week. Pay rate: $15.16 per hour. Schedule: 8-hour days, Tuesday - Saturday. Saturdays are required. Reports to Thrift Store Manager.
