Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing outpatient team in Livingston, New Jersey. This is a full-time, office-based role focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse adult population. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, detail-oriented, and committed to building long-term relationships with patients while promoting preventive care and overall wellness.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and formulate differential diagnoses for acute and chronic conditions.
- Daily review of inbox labs and images and communication with patients/families
- Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans, including prescribing medications and non-pharmacologic therapies within the state's scope of practice.
- Order, conduct, supervise, and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventative healthcare, including conducting annual wellness visits and health risk assessments.
- Perform accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, typically within 24 hours
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and care managers.
- Triage patient phone calls and handle provider inbox tasks.
- Perform minor office procedures such as wound care, suturing, or immunizations
- Strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and adaptability in dynamic environments are essential.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current and active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey
- Board certification (e.g., FNP, ANP)
- DEA license (or eligibility)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in primary care preferred (new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems
