JOB PURPOSE

• To work closely with the medical team in the provision of care for the clients of community businesses and organizations related to employment safety, health, injury, and well-being under the direction of the medical provider.
• Deliver the highest level of customer service to those employees and employers presenting for medical care.
• To perform patient care including rooming of patients, performing observations, and gathering data for the medical provider.
• Provide accurate Radiologic films for medical providers to use in assessing patients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing X-Ray’s when ordered by medical provider.
• Perform daily/monthly equipment checks and calibrations
• Register patients into the EMR
• Ensure an organized, clean, and tidy work environment
• Enter results of all tests into Electronic Health Records
• Maintain effective communication with entire XMD Staff and client representatives to maintain safe and effective operations.
• Other duties as needed.

Minimum, Qualifications, & Certifications

• NM Radiology Technologist license
• Effective oral and written communication skills with patients and families.
• High level of analytic ability to identify and evaluate problems and recommend solutions.
• Able to react calmly and effectively in an emergency.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test, as applicable for the role.
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
• On call time may be required
