Who We're Looking For
We're searching for an outgoing, compassionate, and driven individual to join our team as a Cord Blood & Birth Tissue Collection Specialist. If you're enthusiastic about helping others and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the cord blood and birth tissue collection program at assigned hospital(s)
- Collect after-birth tissues using sterile technique (training provided)
- Interview and educate expectant mothers on our program and complete consent forms
- Train and mentor new staff on proper collection procedures
- Build strong relationships with hospital staff, nurses, and doctors
- Conduct educational outreach to medical professionals and in prenatal settings (doctor offices, birthing classes, etc.)
- Package and ship collected tissues promptly and according to protocol
- Perform quality control tasks and maintain compliance with SOPs and industry regulations
- Work independently with professionalism and minimal supervision
- Lift and carry equipment and shipping boxes (up to 20 lbs independently)
- 2-year degree or equivalent experience required
- Previous management or team leadership experience preferred
- Background or coursework in medical or healthcare fields preferred
- Experience with sterile procedures a plus
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, hospital-based environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility in schedule and willingness to work varied hours
- Reliable transportation to assigned hospital/facility locations
- Commitment to adhering to regulatory standards (FDA, AATB, etc.)
