Now Hiring: Nursing Supervisor – Home Care Agency (RN)
Location: Serving Essex, Morris, and Union Counties (New Jersey)
Job Type: Full-Time
We are a well-established, CAHC-accredited home care agency seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Nursing Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality care, clinically skilled, and ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic home care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nursing assessments and reassessments in clients' homes
- Generate and maintain accurate Plans of Care
- Supervise and evaluate Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs)
- Monitor client care and ensure compliance with clinical standards
- Review and manage client readmissions
- Lead phone and in-person orientations for new staff
- Assist with agency-wide staff education and training sessions
- Provide support and coverage for cases throughout Somerset, Middlesex, Essex, and Union counties
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality and safe delivery of home health care services
- Assist in planning, development, and administration of agency operations
- Assume assigned responsibilities for agency operations in the Administrator's absence
- Coordinate and evaluate all aspects of Client Services
- Participate in the Quality Improvement and Risk Management Program as assigned
- Coordinate with community agencies to ensure continuity of care
- Monitor clinical status of all clients
- Communicate effectively with clients and family members regarding health conditions and care needs
- Assist in the hiring process, including interviews, orientation, and competency assessments
- Evaluate and supervise agency staff
- Organize and document in-service training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator
- Maintain confidentiality and follow infection control protocols
- Demonstrate effective time management, clinical judgment, and professional conduct
- Comply with attendance, punctuality, and communication policies
- Maintain 30 continuing education units (CEUs) as required by the NJ Board of Nursing
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in home care, community health, or a related setting
- Availability via phone and ability to make home visits during on-call hours
- Strong clinical, leadership, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of CHHA supervision, care planning, and state regulations
