Non-Emergency Medical Biller/Coder
Medical Billing Company, located in Ravenna, OH, has been serving clients for over 30 years. We are looking to grow and expand our team of medical coders, specifically those who have worked with non-emergency ambulance billing and coding.
Note- This job could be remote after successfully completing training during the probationary period.
Ideal candidates will have experience in the following areas:
- Assignment of codes for symptom, diagnoses, and procedures using ICD and CPT codes
- Collecting documentation to support medical necessity
- Working knowledge of Insurance ID numbers
- Previous experience in a medical, ambulance, or other medical billing office

Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day (including paid lunch)
- Full and Part-Time positions available
This position operates in a professional office environment with prolonged periods of sitting with frequent computer and telephone usage. Some navigation throughout the office is required so candidates must be able move about the office to access files and/or other necessary information as needed. Candidates must be able to type a minimum of 25wpm and lift up to 15 pounds
Candidates must be able to learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and complete tasks that have a speed or productivity quota. Candidates must be able to complete all physical and mental requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
