Powder Coating Operator

Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN as a Powder Coating Operator on our 1st Shift. You'll prepare, coat, and inspect parts to help deliver the quality our customers expect.

What You'll Do

• Work as part of a team to prepare parts for powder coating
• Perform masking, loading, unloading, buffing, and weld-spatter removal
• Inspect painted parts for quality
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Ability to use power tools
• Strong eye for detail
• Commitment to working safely
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production documentation in English

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a production environment

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Work near moving equipment
• Frequently lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Reaching and repetitive motion
• Noisy environment; ear protection required

Your base wage will be between $20.50 - $23.63 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
