Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and observe patients' health and well-being, documenting vital signs as needed.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Support individuals in engaging in recreational activities and community outings.
- Facilitate communication between clients and their families or healthcare providers.
- Implement individualized care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in patient monitoring or patient observation is preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- A background in nursing or assisted living settings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others achieve independence.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
