Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Math and Science Teacher to inspire and educate students across various grade levels. Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive lessons in mathematics and science subjects such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, biology, chemistry, microbiology, genetics, molecular biology, and biochemistry.
• Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and student needs.
• Design interactive lesson plans utilizing modern learning technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, exams, and standardized tests; provide constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Incorporate laboratory activities such as dissection and research experiments to reinforce scientific concepts.
• Mentor students individually or in groups to support academic achievement and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and school initiatives.
• Prepare students for college entrance exams and standardized assessments through tutoring and targeted instruction.
• Engage with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior management strategies.
• Stay current with advancements in educational research, instructional methods, and scientific discoveries through ongoing professional development.

Skills

• Strong expertise in mathematics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, differential equations, discrete math, and proofing techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of science disciplines such as biology (cell biology, genetics), chemistry (organic chemistry), microbiology (microbiology lab experience), biochemistry, molecular biology, laboratory procedures including dissection, and scientific research methodologies.
• Experience in curriculum development tailored to diverse learning styles and educational standards.
• Proficiency with learning technology tools for virtual or blended instruction.
• Excellent classroom management skills to foster an engaging learning environment.
• Effective communication skills for clear instruction and collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to design lesson plans that incorporate instructional design principles for maximum student engagement.
• Experience working with students of varying abilities including special education needs or private school settings is advantageous.
• Skills in mentoring students academically and personally to promote their overall success.
• Familiarity with standardized testing preparation strategies; experience with research laboratory techniques is a plus.
