The LIFE Center is seeking a Development, Outreach & Administrative Coordinator to help strengthen our fundraising, donor relations, grant support, marketing, outreach, and organizational systems. The LIFE Center is a nonprofit adult day center serving older adults and adults with disabilities while supporting the family caregivers who care for them. We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and people-oriented team member who can help move donor and funder relationships forward, support grant and development efforts, assist with marketing and outreach, track key data and reporting, and provide administrative support to the Executive Director.
What You’ll Do
This position will play a key role in helping the LIFE Center build and sustain support from donors, funders, churches, businesses, community partners, and referral sources while also helping keep our internal development, communication, and reporting systems organized.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Supporting donor development, donor stewardship, and funder cultivation efforts
- Researching new grant and funding opportunities
- Managing grant calendars, deadlines, and reporting support
- Maintaining donor records and development tracking systems
- Assisting with donor communications, thank-you letters, sponsorship materials, and fundraising follow-up
- Assisting with marketing and outreach efforts, including flyers, graphics, event materials, and social media content
- Helping create materials using Canva and other computer-based tools
- Tracking scholarships, participant funding information, and related follow-up
- Assisting with monthly reports, data tracking, and development/outreach reporting
- Providing administrative support to the Executive Director related to development, outreach, reporting, and organizational projects
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Has strong written communication skills
- Enjoys building relationships and supporting mission-driven fundraising and outreach efforts
- Has strong computer skills and is comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, email, and digital communication tools
- Can create professional materials using Canva or similar design tools
- Can manage multiple projects, deadlines, and follow-up tasks
- Can represent the LIFE Center professionally with donors, caregivers, community partners, and referral sources
- Is self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in administrative support, fundraising support, donor relations, marketing, outreach, grant support, nonprofit operations, communications, or related work preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office or similar programs, email, spreadsheets, and data entry/database systems
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
Preferred Experience
- Nonprofit, healthcare, human services, senior services, or disability services experience
- Experience with donor databases/CRM systems, grant tracking, fundraising support, donor stewardship, marketing, or community outreach
- Experience with report preparation, communications, event materials, social media, or project coordination
Schedule
- Full-time, generally 40 hours per week
- Primarily Monday–Friday daytime schedule
- Occasional evening/community events may be required
