IT Systems Analyst

Under minimal supervision, this forward-looking role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, optimizing, and proactively supporting LCS business systems used by stakeholders across the organization. This position serves as a subject matter expert and consultant who looks beyond individual support tickets to identify patterns, determine root causes, and design sustainable solutions that prevent recurring issues. The role partners with business and technology teams to improve system reliability, strengthen data-driven decision making, and identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI-enabled capabilities, reporting, and process improvements. This position also leads moderately complex projects and helps advance the organization’s use of modern tools, analytics, and continuous improvement practices.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic consultant by analyzing, configuring, and improving complex business systems to align with business requirements, operational goals, and long-term technology direction.
• Partner with system users and cross-functional stakeholders to gather and analyze needs, assess feasibility and impact of system changes, and recommend solutions that enhance functionality, efficiency, usability, and data quality.
• Provide proactive technical support for business systems by troubleshooting complex issues, identifying trends and recurring pain points, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing durable remediation plans that reduce repeat incidents.
• Design and implement process improvements, system enhancements, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled solutions that streamline work, reduce manual effort, improve controls, and increase system reliability.
• Use data analysis, reporting, dashboards, and system metrics to monitor performance, surface risks, measure solution effectiveness, and provide insights that support business and technology decisions.
• Lead and organize system testing activities, including creating test plans, executing test cases, validating automation or AI-enabled changes, and overseeing user acceptance testing to ensure quality, reliability, and adoption.
• Lead end-user training sessions and provide ongoing guidance to strengthen system adoption, improve user effectiveness, and help stakeholders understand new capabilities, process changes, and self-service tools.
• Serve as a project lead on moderately complex projects, creating project plans, identifying training and communication needs, managing stakeholder engagement, and driving changes from discovery through successful implementation.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, automation tools, AI capabilities, data practices, system updates, and industry best practices to recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work directly with vendors to troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve issues; evaluate vendor performance against service level agreements; and advocate for long-term fixes that address underlying system or process gaps.
• Analyze and resolve the most complex escalated tickets as needed, while documenting root causes, corrective actions, lessons learned, and preventive measures for future reference.
• Serve as a mentor for less experienced teammates by sharing system knowledge, coaching on problem-solving methods, supporting proactive support practices, and assisting with day-to-day work direction as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 4-6 years of related experience required, with direct business systems experience and demonstrated success improving system reliability, business processes, or user outcomes preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and root-cause problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues, interpret technical documentation, identify patterns, and recommend preventive solutions.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, dashboards, SQL, or similar data and analytics capabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with automation concepts, workflow tools, scripting, low-code/no-code platforms, AI-enabled tools, or process improvement methods preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical information for business stakeholders and effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, delivering high-quality results, and driving continuous improvement.
