Life Balance Recovery is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and clinically skilled Mental Health & Substance Abuse Counselor to join our outpatient treatment team in Spanish Fork, Utah. This role involves providing individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy to clients in recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
You will be a key part of a trauma-informed, evidence-based program that prioritizes connection, safety, and individualized healing. Our ideal candidate is passionate about helping others, rooted in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) modalities, and thrives in a team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy sessions for clients addressing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.
- Facilitate therapy groups including psychoeducation, relapse prevention, DBT skills, mindfulness, and emotional regulation.
- Conduct family therapy sessions to support systemic healing and healthy relationships.
- Collaborate with case managers, medical staff, and treatment team to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state licensing and Medicaid requirements.
- Attend clinical meetings and participate in supervision (if required).
Salary : $60,000 - $72,000
