Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Tree Service Working Foreman to lead and work alongside a tree crew. This position is hands-on and requires strong leadership, climbing/rigging, equipment operation, and a commitment to safety and quality work.
The Working Foreman is responsible for supervising daily job operations while actively participating in tree removals, pruning, rigging, cleanup, and equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a tree crew on residential and commercial job sites
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, removals, rigging, and cleanup
- Operate equipment including chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily safety checks
- Communicate with customers professionally on-site
- Train and mentor crew members
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
- Assist with emergency storm response work when needed
Qualifications
- Previous crew leader or foreman experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- CDL preferred
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
