Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Educational Aide permit
• Must complete paraprofessional requirements
• Proper certification in First Aid and CPR
• Willing to participate in district in-service training
• Neat appearance
• Successfully complete and pass a BCI & FBI background check
  
  

JOB GOAL: To work cooperatively and assist the classroom teacher assigned

REPORTS TO

EVALUATED BY: Building Principal

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all approved school and building policies and procedures
• Inspect all restrooms for the purpose of alleviating loitering or destruction
• Assist students in the hallways
• Greet and offer directions to visitors
• Assist with tutoring for any student as needed
• Help maintain a safe environment
• Assist students with disabilities with the elevator or chair lift
• Assist with student hygiene as needed
• Any other duties assigned by the classroom teacher or building principal
  
  

Terms Of Employment

• Remainder of the 2025-2026 School Year
• Seven (7) hours/day
• Salary as per negotiated agreement (LACE)
