Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Social Worker role based in Newark, OH. The Social Worker will provide support and care to individuals and families affected by addiction and mental health challenges. Qualifications
- Proficiency in assessment, development of treatment plans, and case management
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
- Experience with counseling techniques, including Motivational Interviewing and group facilitation
- Knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and mental health care
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work as part of a team
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping in a behavioral health setting
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required; licensure in social work or related field also required
- Experience in outpatient behavioral health or substance use treatment is an advantage
- Familiarity with community resources in Licking County is a plus
