Part-Time Position — Head Lice Technician for our Cicero Treatment Center
Our pediatric head lice treatment center is seeking caring and service oriented individuals to be a part of an internationally recognized health organization that provides urgent care for head lice removal.
Candidates must have consistent availability at least one weekend day. Position offers approximately 20 hours per week. Excellent job for anyone interested in nursing, pediatrics, and working with children. Great for RN, LPN, Pharmacy Technicians, Dental hygienists, dental students, teachers and moms looking for flexible PT work.
Hiring ASAP but must also be able to continue to work beyond the summer.
On job training provided -- involves learning combing technique, certification on the AirAlle (TM) medical lice treatment device, and science behind our treatment method.
*Experience working in a clinical, dental, nursing, pediatric or cosmetology setting preferred but not required.
Must be able to work with hair, be a team player, hard-working, detail oriented, able to relate well to people, strong communication skills, ability to multi-task and maintain professionalism in a confidential, pediatric treatment center. Must be able to perform treatment services as outlined in treatment protocols. Must adhere to high standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the treatment rooms and clinic common areas. Tasks include sanitizing work areas and tools, laundry, vacuuming, emptying trash receptacles, and other light cleaning.
