- Operate, monitor, and maintain water and wastewater treatment equipment, including pumps, motors, valves, chemical feeders, and telemetry systems
- Conduct regular water and wastewater quality tests, analyze results, and adjust treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on treatment facilities and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate records of operational data, maintenance activities, and water quality test results
- Conduct daily inspections of treatment facilities and equipment, adjusting operations for optimal flow and stability
- Detect and communicate mechanical or process deficiencies to the supervisor
- Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Experience working in the water utility industry, plumbing industry, or similar mechanical experience
- Hold or willingness to obtain an ADEQ Grade 1 Water or Wastewater Treatment license
- Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record
- Basic computer skills, including Windows operations knowledge, and experience with communication devices
