Quality Control Analyst

Responsible for planning and executing an effective plan for current and future opponents. Administer scout team organization and preparation for daily practice expectations. Oversee drafting and Coordination of current and opponent depth charts. Attention to detail and great communication with recruiting directors and positional coaches and coordinators is important. It is important for this position to be a problem solver with progressive thinking. Must abide by all NCAA rules and regulations and be responsible for promoting an atmosphere of compliance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and Tasks: Game Planning Breakdown of weekly ahead opponents and future opponents, and provide guidance to gameplan execution to the offensive, defensive and special team coordinators. Administer and plan for pre-practice meetings and gameplans for the coaching staff. Responsible for planning and preparing for future opponents and self-scouting. Coordinate and control active and future depth chart. Responsible for data and analytical information that will supply Head Coach and Coordinator with appropriate data points. Spearhead the setup and teardown of all video splicing. Academic Planning Support Director of Transition and academics in establishing and communicating a plan for our student-athletes and their academic success plan. Enforce student-athlete academic action plans. Responsible to review and report any issues. Assist with Class checks and academic events. Recruiting: On-Campus Visits Establish communication plans and coordinate coaches recruiting travel during the NCAA recruiting periods. Participate in all recruiting events on campus that consist of prospective student-athletes. All other duties as assigned by the Chief of Staff, Head Coach and or Athletic Director. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and Supervise student-athletes in each position group Establish Academic tracking for student-athletes (60) Manage Statistical tracking and playbook QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations. 3-5 years of experience preferred but not required Up to date with technologies used in sports ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES ESSENTIAL TO THE FUNCTION OF THE JOB Communication and Comprehension Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well articulated information. Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner. Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University to a variety of business and community customers and associates. Strong organizational skills. Excellent computer skills. Problem Solving Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature. Physical and Sensory Abilities Occasionally required to travel to local and campus locations. Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard. (If not administrative duties, such as labor, define general physical abilities. Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the building. Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop in order to conduct business. Regularly lift 10 or fewer pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS Work Environment The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted and the noise level is moderate. (Define if outdoor, dusty, weather conditions, etc.) Football is an environment that requires long and extensive days. Driving Requirements Use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) is required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
