Job Description:
As an Industrial Maintenance Assistant you will help maintain machinery and other equipment under the direction of a Maintenance Technician. You will work individually and as a team to clean, lubricate and make minor repairs using diagnostic tools, technical manuals and the required equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This position will also be required to participate in safety inspections and meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
· 1 years of industrial/manufacturing experience or equivalent mechanical/electrical experience.
· Mechanically inclined and detail oriented.
· Forklift experience.
· Flexible to work off hours and weekends.
· Able to work overtime as needed.
· Able to read, write, and interpret documents.
· Able to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
· Dependable and consistent attendance.
· Self-starter.
Top Candidates Qualifications may include:
· 3 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
· Industrial Maintenance Training from the Military, Community College or Trade School.
· Experience in welding & torch cutting.
· Experience in troubleshooting electrical controls and systems.
· Familiarity with air-assist paint system.
· Familiar with the operation of overhead cranes.
· Military Service.
· Bilingual – English and Spanish
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to work in hot or cold environments, work areas are heated.
· Frequently required for up to 10 hours:
o Bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, turn, climb, walk, and stand on concrete.
o Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
· Occasionally required to:
o Climb, walk or balance using a ladder.
o Push or pull items.
o Use vibrating equipment.
Compensation and Benefits:
· Hourly pay rate ($20.00/hr).
· For excellent attendance and safety:
o $0.50 per hour pay incentive after first 90 days of employment
o $0.50 per hour pay incentive after 6 months of employment
o $0.50 per hour pay incentive after 1 year of employment
· 1st Shift Position, 40 hour work week with potential for Overtime.
o Monday thru Thursday 7:00am to 5:30pm.
o Friday Overtime Day 7:00am to 3:30pm. (as needed)
o Saturday Overtime 7:00am to 3:30pm. (as needed)
· Military Service Premium at $1.00 per hour.
o Must provide DD214
o Minimum of 2 years active duty military service

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Follow all Plant Safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
· Facility Maintenance.
· Routine maintenance
· Assisting with repairs
· Testing and inspection
· Technical support
· Preventative Maintenance
· Safety inspections.
· Use overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
· Use ladders.
· Will be required to work at heights of 20 feet or more.
· Perform other work related duties as assigned.

· Mig Welders & Beam Welder
· Press Brake, Torch Table & Band Saws

Additional Information:
· All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening before they can be hired to any Liberty Trailers position.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
