Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for growing Liberty Tire Recycling’s crumb rubber sales across the south-central region of the US. This role focuses heavily on new business development while also managing and expanding an existing book of businesses. The ideal candidate is a competitive, self-motivated salesperson with a strong track record in industrial or commodity product sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development through prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation
- Develop and expand customer relationships across industries such as manufacturing, construction, and sports surfacing
- Manage and grow existing business
- Track all sales activity and pipeline in CRM (Salesforce)
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms with customers
- Achieve monthly and annual volume targets aligned to incentive compensation
- Collaborate with internal teams on logistics and product delivery
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong B2B sales skills with proven success in industrial or commodity sales
- Self-starter with excellent hunting, prospecting, and closing capabilities
- High degree of initiative and ability to work independently
- Proficient in CRM tools and pipeline management
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Education and Experience:
- 5 years of sales experience with a focus on new business development
- Background in tire, rubber, or recycling industries is a plus, but not required
- Technical aptitude to learn product applications and customer solutions
