Job Summary
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage the stationery and mobile production equipment, including repairs, scheduled preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. You'll ensure the availability of parts, maintain shop tools and equipment, adhere to safety policies, and make informed decisions under pressure with strong technical expertise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing, repairing, and providing maintenance work Conveyors, shredders, Gear Boxes, Excavators, Loaders, and Skid Steers
- Developing and scheduling preventative maintenance on equipment and other processes optimizing solutions for production flow with minimal downtime.
- Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns and performing repairs.
- Monitoring availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain shop equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
- Adhere to company work safety policies.
- The ability to make good decisions under pressure, prioritize tasks, and strong technical knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand prints and technical drawings for reference.
- Welding and Fabrication with Steel and Aluminum.
Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum 2-years’ experience
- Welding, Cutting, Fabrication, MIG, TIG
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Proficient in bearing handling, including removing and installing
- Knowledgeable of gearbox repair and coupling alignment.
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities
Education and Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.
Compensation:
· $50,000. To $60,000. Annually. Paid bi-weekly
