Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This role supports production through proactive preventive maintenance and rapid response to equipment issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on shredders, granulators, bucket elevators, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Monitor equipment performance and make operational adjustments as needed
- Replace worn or damaged parts and document maintenance activities
- Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities
- Assist with training new maintenance employees and operators
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical & Work Environment
- Regular standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting
- Exposure to outdoor and industrial working conditions
