About the position:
This position is responsible for evaluating used tires as are unloaded off our trucks and reclassifying them into 4 different categories to deem viability.
This position is labor intensive and requires speed, attention to detail and stamina.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and Unload TRUCK and Passenger tires from trailers.
- Cross dock tires from one trailer to the next.
- Discard junk tires onto conveyor for disposal.
- Determine the “grade” of a used tire.
- Separate the different graded tires and keep track of inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Have excellent attention to detail and be able to inspect with accuracy and speed.
- Be DEPENDABLE and have reliable transportation.
- Have steel toe boots.
- Background and Drug Screening: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic data entry knowledge (fill out electronic form)
- Minimum 2-Years warehouse experience
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time
- Forklift and Heavy Equipment experience preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Salary : $18 - $20
