Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all areas of beverage and food service, following proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in beverage recipe development and suggest new drink ideas to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and organizational skills.
- Support bar management in inventory control, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with health regulations during service hours.
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation including cocktail mixing, wine selection, brewing techniques, and craft beer trends.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude; ability to engage guests in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts; multitask efficiently while delivering quality service.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
