The Position: We are looking for a Manager for Rolling and Finishing in our Rod Mill! This position will supervise the Rod Mill productive crew to ensure quality, safety, and production results. If you are looking to grow in your career - this is a great role that offers upward career movement!

Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000

Annual Target Bonus: 17%

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily operations of a 2-Strand, 25 Strand Wire Rod Mill.
• Responsible for compliance to safety standards, quality cost, and productivity standards.
• Responsible for developing, implementing and enforcing plans to increase safety, quality, and productivity while decreasing costs in the Billet Yard, Rod Mill and Lower Reform.
• Responsible for ordering and inventorying supplies, tools, and consumables used in the Rod Mill when necessary.
• Responsible for analyzing, reporting, giving recommendations and developing strategies on how to improve safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED with five (5) years management experience managing a Wire Rod Mill operation.
• Working, hands on knowledge of Wire Rod Rolling Operations, procedures and support functions.
• Must be capable of using personal computers and Microsoft software for analyzing and reporting strategies on how to improve safety, costs, and productivity.
• Must be capable of supervising employees according to union rules and regulations.
• Possess strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
