What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector - Second Shift Opening position at Liberty Steel Industries, Inc.?
Qualified Candidate must be able to:
- Read and follow work instructions
- Demonstrate the use of micrometers, calipers, tape measure, height gauge, depth gauge, protractor, and fixtures
- Complete required paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Walk/stand for length of shift (10 - 12 hours per shift) - Second shift 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
- Report defective material/product out of tolerance to operator and supervisor to ensure proper adjustments are made accordingly
- Identify a product that fails to meet specifications and contain it
- Problem solve and recommend necessary adjustments to meet production standards
- Maintain first piece, in process and final inspection on all product being ran in a specific area
- Operate label maker for non-conforming product
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
