Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shred Truck Operator to join our new Boise team. You will cover the entire Treasure Valley as we expand our services. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating specialized trucks designed for secure document destruction, ensuring efficient pickup and delivery of shredding materials across various locations. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will contribute to maintaining our reputation for secure and reliable shredding services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, engage with clients, and play a vital role in protecting sensitive information.
This role has a start date of August 3, 2026 in Meridian.
Duties
- Load and unload shredding containers using mechanical knowledge of truck mechanisms and manual handling techniques.
- Drive commercial vehicles with designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Safely load, secure, and deliver shredding containers to client sites or recycling facilities, ensuring proper handling at each step.
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks before and after shifts to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports throughout your shift.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to container handling and site setup as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial box trucks or equivelant
- Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and equipment operation.
- Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in logistics roles involving load & unload activities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and punctuality.
