About The Role
As a Roof Repair Technician, you'll diagnose and repair roofs on homes and buildings. You'll work directly with customers, find the source of leaks and damage, complete quality repairs, and spot opportunities for additional work. You're paid hourly plus commission on the upsells you bring in.
Responsibilities
- Inspect roofs and find the source of leaks and damage
- Complete roof repairs safely, correctly, and on schedule
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers before, during, and after each job
- Identify and present additional work the customer needs, without being pushy
- Document every job with photos and notes
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards, including proper PPE and ladder setup
- Keep your truck, tools, and materials organized and ready for the next job
- 2 years minimum of roofing or construction experience
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check
- Available 40 to 60 hours per week
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- $25 to $32 per hour based on experience
- 5% commission on all upsells
- Overtime available
- Paid training
- Health insurance, with the company paying about half of the employee-only premium
