JOB SUMMARY

This position is for a PCT/Imaging Technologist whose responsibility is to provide direct patient care related to radiology services and general medical care in a clinic setting.  Provides safe and efficient medical care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations.  The position reports to the Director of Medical Practices. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of a two-year radiology technology program.  Completion of an approved medical assistant program preferred or training in a physician’s office.                                                                                                                     
2. Formal Training:  Preferred to be able to operate the following imaging services machines proficiently within three months of employment: DR and CR Rad rooms, Portable X-ray Machines, C-Arm, R&F room and PACS system.  Clinical competence in medical assisting required.
3. Licensure, Certifications & Registration:  American Registered Radiologic Technologist status. Current BLS Certification required.
4. Work Experience:   Radiology and medical clinical competency preferred.
