JOB SUMMARY
This position is for a Registered Nurse whose responsibility is to provide resident care activities to residents receiving therapeutic and diagnostic services at Coastal Manor. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, prioritize, plan, deliver, and evaluate adolescent, adult and geriatric population responses. Refers unusual clinical and administrative problems to the Director of Nursing. Responsible for supervision of professional and skilled personnel during an assigned shift. The position reports to the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications:JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of an associate degree in nursing.
Formal Training: Clinical competence in nursing.
Licensure, Certifications & Registration: Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia; BLS certification required.
Work Experience: Advanced technical nursing skills. Intermediate knowledge of the nursing process. Basic computer skills required.
