Summary: Prepares parts for wash and powder coating process. Maintains chemicals, parts, and materials for successful control of inventory for assembly and shipping departments. Reports production and records data in accordance with department requirements. Load and unload parts from paint line conveyor system. Applies paint material to unfinished parts according to instruction.

Minimum Qualifications: Able to lift product up to 51 lbs. Ability to work under pressure and time sensitivity. Experience with powder coating operations preferred. | |||||||||||
Education/Training: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). | |||||||||||

Experience/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Ability to use personal computer skills. Ability to prioritize tasks. Work Schedule/Hours: Sunday- Friday with typical business hours. Frequently work 9 and 10 hour shifts with some Saturday work based on department needs. | |||||||||||
Physical and Mental Demands: (See Back of Page) Working Conditions: Well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor production setting with adequate ventilation. Summer temperatures occasionally reach in excess of 100°F. Noise is considered loud (CNC machines, air fans and air filter system). |
