About the Role:
Liberty Property & Asset Management is seeking a skilled Commercial Property Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of office, medical, and industrial properties across Southeast Michigan. This position is based in Troy, MI, and plays a key role in the day-to-day operations, tenant relations, and financial performance of assigned properties.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of commercial properties in accordance with company standards and lease agreements
- Serve as primary contact for tenants and vendors, responding to service requests and ensuring timely resolutions
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, janitorial, landscaping, and snow removal services
- Prepare and monitor property budgets, monthly financial reports, and CAM reconciliations
- Conduct regular property inspections and manage capital improvements as needed
- Assist with lease administration, including renewals, amendments, and compliance tracking
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in commercial property management (office, medical, or industrial preferred)
- Strong understanding of lease terminology and property operations
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and vendor management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or similar software is a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (preferred, not required)
