Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers.
• Provide attentive care that includes feeding, diapering, nap times, and health monitoring to ensure each child's well-being.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while maintaining safety standards.
• Use positive behavior management techniques to guide children’s social interactions and emotional regulation.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support early childhood development goals.
• Maintain accurate records of children's daily activities, developmental progress, and health information in compliance with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus.
• Demonstrated classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment.
• Experience with behavior management strategies suitable for young children.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as feeding, diapering, and supervising active children safely. Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
