Key Qualifications
- 5 years of structural steel project management in commercial or industrial construction
- Skilled in reading structural drawings, connection design, steel detailing, and shop/erection drawings
- Experience with RFI management, submittals, change orders, estimating, and cost control
- Strong knowledge of AISC standards, QA/QC processes, welding inspection, bolted connections, and erection sequencing
- Skilled at resolving construction site issues and managing RFIs and change orders
- Proficiency with BIM coordination, clash detection, Tekla, SDS2, AutoCAD, and Revit
- Capable of managing scheduling, scope management, labor management, and subcontractor coordination using critical path method
- Familiarity with OSHA compliance, field verification, material tracking, structural inspections, safety meetings, punch lists, and project closeout
