Sr. Electrical Controls Engineer

My client is looking to add a Controls Engineer to its talented staff. The qualified candidate will have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, at least a years’ experience with automation and/or integration, and knowledge of PLCs and software based HMIs is required. The ideal candidate will also possess experience with electrical enclosure and schematic design. Requirements / Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or another related technical field
  • 2 years’ experience in automation, controls engineering and/or integration experience.
  • Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Siemens, Ignition, FactoryTalk, etc.
  • Experience with PLCs and HMIs in a process controls setting (water/wastewater, food and beverage, packaging, oil gas, etc)
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics; Vision systems; VFD's
  • Experience with electrical enclosure and schematic design is a plus.
  • Comfortable with 25-35% average travel
