Mechanical Systems Design Engineer
Our client is actively seeking to add a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer with a deep interest in challenging projects, opportunities for career advancement, and a great place to work. The primary function of this role involves the design and 3D modeling of systems and processes for industrial focused projects.
Responsibilities
- Participate from design through successful construction in the design, development, implementation, and analysis of complex systems, processes, and equipment using 3D modeling and analysis tools
- Work is both independent and collaborative
- Proficient in various software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, SolidWorks, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and other mechanical design tools
Qualifications
- BS Mechanical Engineer with three (3) or more years’ of relevant experience
- Knowledge and experience in the design, development, and analysis, of industrial systems and/or processes
- Industrial project experience within sites/facilities such as water & wastewater, energy, natural gas, mining/mineral/solid waste management and processing
- Knowledge and experience within industrial plant systems
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Software experience: AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, SolidWorks, FEA (Finite Element Analysis
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
- EIT or P.E. Certification a plus
- This position requires either US citizenship or Green Card holder for consideration
