Litigation Paralegal
A growing firm is looking to add a Litigation Paralegal to their team. This is either a contract/contract to hire position that will work fully remotely.
Qualified candidates will have experience with most of the following:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
- Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including document collection, review, production, and organization.
- Coordinate and maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and court filings to ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
- Conduct legal research and factual investigations using online research tools and public records.
- Prepare deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials, including exhibits, witness files, and trial binders.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors in a professional manner.
- Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts and familiarity with applicable court rules and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal case management software, and document management systems; strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills required.
