HVAC Service and Maintenance Sales Manager

Job Details:

My client is a top notch Building Automation and Mechanical Contracting company that is actively seeking a Sales Manger for their HVAC Service and Maintenance Sales group. This person will be very familiar with the HVAC Mechanical Contracting and Building Automation industries.

• Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience with proven success - WITH STRONG NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE - must be strong on the new business side as this team is 100% new business development and no account management
• Demonstrated B2B new business development experience - residential, door to door, retail, etc is not required - Bonus if they've got owner-direct experience though not required
• 5 years of experience selling services, service agreements, or contracts - If they've only sold products, it's not what we're looking for
• Previous sales leadership experience preferred - But not required - This would be a good step intp leadership for someone while still making sales rep pay - if they've been a lead, a mentor, trainer for other team members, a manager, we'd consider all of those
• Experience with long and complex sales cycles - This is not transactional sales, no one call closes, typical sales cycle on this team is about 3 months
